      The AC bids farewell to its lay Chairman Dr Hans Meier

      At its meeting of the 28th July 2011 and with the inception of its new constitution the AC accepted the resignation of its lay chairman, Dr Hans Meier. Dr Meier's work over the last 6 years has been invaluable to the profession. The AC gave a special vote of thanks for all his hard work and his ability to deal with complex isues with great clarity. He will be sorely missed.

      Maggie Dunn retires as Chief Executive (CEO) & Registrar of the CNHC

      The AC thanks her for her hard work in helping give regulation form and structure and looks forward to working with Margaret Coats, the out-going CEO/Registrar of the General Chiropractic Council who will fill the post of interim CEO from 1st September.

      CNHC announces 5000th registrant.

      New Guide—Responsible Marketing

      Available free of charge, this guide helps aromatherapists keep within the Law when advertising their services on leaflets and websites.
      It also includes a sample of a consultation record card used by therapists. This is available for therapists and student to use and shows the public what to expect in a consultation prior to treatment

      S12(1) reform MHRA Consultation March 07

      This is the official response from the AC to the consultation detailing proposed reforms to restrict s12(1) use which will affect the way aromatherapists currently work. The deadline for this consultation was 30th March 2007.
